Seeing what is true beneath the noise.
Beneath every thought, feeling, pattern, and story, there is a deeper truth about who you are and what is really happening in your life. Sometimes that truth feels personal. Sometimes it touches something more universal. Either way, it often becomes buried beneath habit, confusion, or the noise of everyday living. Our work begins by slowing down and listening carefully for what is real. As truth emerges for you, we begin to explore how your life is aligning with it — as a starting point for change.
Transforming the narratives that shape your life.
The stories we tell shape our lives. Together, we raise awareness of the narratives you carry and begin to reshape those that do not serve — in understanding and in practice. You can live your way into a new perspective, and release yourself from the stories that keep you stuck. My work is to help you gradually realise your greatest power — the freedom to choose how you respond.
Being held with care as pain emerges.
Any behaviour can be understood by seeing the pain beneath it. When the ways you have been coping and protecting yourself are met with compassion and acknowledged for what they are — you can soften enough to begin healing. Old patterns, resistance, and discomfort will naturally arise on this path. When they appear, we meet them tenderly — so that you can stay with the process, rather than retreat from it. Compassion is what I am, and this creates the safety required for change.
Living in alignment with truth.
As clarity deepens, our work turns toward bringing that truth into your life: into your choices, your relationships, your boundaries, and the way you show up in the world. This may look like having conversations you’ve been avoiding, making decisions that reflect your true values, and breaking patterns that no longer serve you. “What would it mean to live your truth?” Not perfectly, but sincerely — to simply return when you stray, and to continue meeting whatever arises with kindness.

“I felt met in a way I hadn’t experienced before. Just held. Just understood. And somehow, I began to show up differently in my life.”
“Karuna kept being so steady and non-judgmental, which made it possible to be truly honest. What a relief!”
“He is so patient, but not passive. He asks questions in a way that makes the answers come from within me... but I already knew, I just needed to be guided back to it.”
The way I work is based on who I am - the qualities that remain in me despite change. My approach grows out of an ongoing personal exploration of life, relationships, and the deeper patterns that shape how we live.
Over the years my search has carried me through many different experiences and expressions of the human condition — spiritual practice, creative work, adventure, and countless conversations about what it means to be human.
How this shapes my work
Each step has deepened my curiosity and sharpened my ability to listen beneath the surface of things. In time, that path naturally led me to counselling.
My work is grounded in both formal training and lived experience.
I hold a degree in Counselling from the South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP), and spent five years working as a Relationship Coach at Relationship Hero, supporting individuals and couples through complex emotional and relational challenges. Alongside this, I completed a 720-hour training programme in somatic healing modalities, deepening my understanding of how emotional experience lives within the body. My work continues to evolve through ongoing learning, reflection, and personal practice.
